In November 2009 I had the privilege to be invited to sing at the French Salon organized par Tom White, Loose Moon Productions, with the pianist Matthew Wards. New York.
La vie en rose
I grew up in Martinique, in a culture that puts singing (and dancing) on the same level as breathing. Voices have always had an important place in my life. Just like the eyes, I feel they are an open door onto the soul. Singers like Edith Piaf, Jacques Brel, Barbara, Charles Aznavour, Ella Fitzgerald, Paulo Rosine, Eugene Mona, Regina Spektor, Natalie Dessay, Cecilia Bartoli, and Philippe Jarousky, to mention a few, have made my life such a vibrant, colorful experience.
